一、中央主管機關指定之職業安全衛生教育訓練網路教學課程，意指為職安署建置之職業安全衛生數位學習平台內所開設，且註記得採認一般安全衛生教育訓練時數之課程，事業單位之勞工上網學習後，得採認為職業安全衛生教育訓練規則第17條之訓練時數，且無2小時時數之限制。目前該指定課程尚在規劃製作階段。
二、另中央主管機關認可之職業安全衛生教育訓練網路教學課程，則係指經勞動部認可之課程，如臺北市勞動檢查處或勞動部「全民勞教e網」建置之「一般職業安全衛生教育訓練」網路教學課程，亦或是事業單位預先錄製以線上學習方式辦理一般安全衛生教育訓練，並將其錄製之網路教材送勞動部（職安署）且經認可後，勞工於前開平台或教材上網學習，其時數至多抵充2小時。
