勞工職業災害保險及保護法今(110)年4月經總統公布後，行政院核定該法施行日期預定為明(111)年5月1日，該法已明定勞動部應捐助成立「財團法人職業災害預防及重建中心」。為使中心籌設順利，勞動部職業安全衛生署(以下簡稱職安署)成立籌備辦公室，並於今(28)日揭牌運作，積極辦理財團法人成立之相關籌備工作，以回應各界對於中心統合職業災害預防及重建業務之期盼。
職安署鄒子廉署長表示，中心籌備工作將由職安署各組(室)全力參與，並委由專業團體協助相關庶務性工作，規劃擬訂中心之組織與任務、管理規章等，並研訂營運發展之策略，尤其勞工職業災害保險及保護法已明定勞工職業傷病之診治及職能復健之完整制度，未來將由該中心透過統籌規劃勞工職業傷病個案服務作業流程及強化服務品質，連結傷病診治、醫療復健、職能復健、協助擬定復工計畫等。
此外，職安署亦刻正研擬該中心之捐助章程，後續將依財團法人法相關規定，備妥所需文件向主管機關申請設立許可，並向所在地法院聲請登記，以完備財團法人之籌設工作。
