有關今日(4月9日)媒體報導，台灣鐵路產業工會向全台各地方政府申訴台灣鐵路管理局涉嫌違反勞動基準法，只有3個縣市政府發動勞動檢查，其中竟有2個縣市政府於勞動檢查前，事先通知台灣鐵路管理局，本署澄清如下:

台鐵產業工會前於今年3月12日向全國各縣市政府申訴台灣鐵路管理局涉違反勞動基準法，各縣市政府勞工局(處)刻正實施勞動檢查中，台灣鐵路產業工會今日的訴求，將請各縣市政府併案處理並注意，以保護台鐵各地勞工的勞動權益。
依照有關規定，除職業災害調查等情況，勞動檢查不會事先通知資方，針對台灣鐵路產業工會所指情事，本署將進行了解。
