今(30)日北、中、南接連發生宜蘭造船廠作業勞工缺氧1死1傷、台中自來水管改接作業勞工遭自來水管吸入1死及高雄水泥舊廠拆除作業勞工遭倒塌物掩埋1死等3件重大職災，勞動部職安署已立即指示各轄區勞動檢查機構派員檢查，除予以停工，對違反職安法令事項各處以30萬元罰鍰之外，並將該等事業經營負責人移送地檢署參辦。
職安署表示，近期疫情趨緩及年終將至，事業單位為達工程進度或訂單需求而多有趕工情事，因此特別呼籲在經濟復甦及各行業工作量能需求增加下，事業單位除持續維持職場防疫作為外，並應確實依職安法相關規定辦理，對於疫情趨緩易發生職災之趕工作業，應加強安全衛生設施，必要時加派人力監督管理，落實各項防災機制，切勿因趕工及疏忽而釀災。職安署也指示各勞動檢查機構於這段期間動員人力加強勞動檢查，嚴查重罰，並函請各部會及縣市主管機關落實監督所屬事業及工程，共同防災。
