9月18日起將是一連4天的中秋節假期，仍有工廠、工地需持續運作及施工，勞動部職安署特別呼籲雇主要加強機械設備與營造工地之作業檢點及現場巡視，並落實工作場所與施工之安全管理及緊急應變措施。
職安署表示，中秋節連假期間，各工廠多由少數人員輪班作業，且大部分營造工地仍持續施工，一旦發生職業災害，易因應變不及而演變成大規模的公共安全事故，雇主應落實自動檢查，確認機械、設備及器具安全設施是否正常，並加強安全巡視，掌握廠區及工地安全，同時建立緊急應變及通報系統及強化留守人員之防災認知，以確保事故即時通報及應變處理。
職安署提醒，雇主應確實依職業安全衛生法相關規定，對中秋連假期間易發生職災作業加強各項安全應變措施，避免因疏忽工作上應注意事項而釀災。
