中度颱風烟花侵臺，預估週五(23日)風雨逐漸增強，勞動部職安署呼籲事業單位儘快檢視工作職場防颱準備是否齊全，並應加強各項安全防護措施；強風豪雨期間應避免戶外作業，如需進行災害防救必要之外勤工作，應事前評估危害，並確實置備適當個人防護具與交通工具供工作者使用；另颱風過後從事災害搶修及復建工作，如道路搶修、電線維修、屋頂修繕、使用施工架、邊坡、鄰水等作業，更應先評估作業風險，加強各項安全衛生措施，才能施作。
近期歐洲德國、比利時與中國大陸鄭州等地發生強降雨，造成多人死傷，其中亦包括與工作相關而受災者，突顯與事前輕疏未妥慎應變有關。職安署再次提醒，事業單位對颱風期間易發生職災之作業務必加強各項安全應變措施，雇主未依職業安全衛生法令規定落實執行而導致勞工罹災者，將依法查處究辦。
