鑑於全國疫情升為第三級警戒，多數民眾居家辦公，外送點餐需求增加，勞動部職安署滾動檢討修正「食品外送平台之外送員(取送餐)防疫重點事項」，要求平台業者落實防疫管制措施。
職安署表示，為維護外送員之安全，於109年4月訂定「食品外送平台之外送員(取送餐)防疫重點事項」，因應目前全國疫情已提升至第三級警戒，且延長至6月14日，考量此波疫情期間，多數民眾居家辦公，外送點餐需求增加，為強化食品外送業者及外送員送取餐之防疫作為，故會商衛生福利部疾病管制署再次修正該重點事項，本次主要修正內容包括規範平台業者應置備口罩、清潔消毒用品等相關防疫物資供外送員使用，並優先採取「行動支付」及「無接觸取送餐」服務機制，避免現金交易產生不必要之曝露與接觸；如外送至防疫旅宿或醫療院所等高風險地點，外送員應主動與消費者約定於戶外、通風良好處或指定之適當場所取餐，並遵守相關防疫管制事項，修正內容如附件。
我國正面臨疫情嚴峻考驗，職安署持續督促各食品外送業者，務必提升防疫作為及提供足夠的防疫物資給外送員使用，亦籲請外送員本身及訂餐之消費者應共同配合落實防疫措施。
