「第1屆臺歐盟職業安全衛生合作會議」於臺北時間今(110)年5月6日下午3時以視訊方式召開，歐盟職業安全衛生局(EU-OSHA)局長Christa SEDLATSCHEK親率同仁參加，勞動部職安署則由署長鄒子廉帶領同仁與會，共同聚焦「平台經濟之工作者職場安全衛生保障」及「職災勞工保障及重建服務制度」兩議題展開交流，雙方互動熱絡。
本會議為我國與歐盟首次就職業安全衛生議題共同辦理的合作平台會議，意義非凡，鄒署長於會中感謝歐盟職業安全衛生局對我國支持，同時也提出希望未來以臺灣及歐盟輪流主辦的方式，進行每年定期性合作會議、專家互訪或指派專家參與對方舉辦之相關國際會議等持續合作交流。
本屆會議雙方皆表示成果豐碩，並期盼疫情能儘速趨緩，第2屆合作會議能有機會互訪面對面交流，在職場化學品致癌危害風險管理、職業病認定基準及工業4.0數位化機械和工作設備之安全管理等議題進行討論，以共同建構更完善的職業安全衛生政策及穩固的夥伴關係。
