各行各業因應COVID-19疫情影響致原物料堆置、運輸及處置需求激增，造成物料倒塌、崩塌等意外頻傳，今年春節前後期間接連發生勞工從事物料堆置、搬運、處置等作業，遭物料壓傷之職業災害，危害作業勞工安全。
經統計分析，常見物料倒塌、崩塌災害之主要原因如下：
職安署呼籲，事業單位應落實物料採取繩索捆綁、護網、擋樁、限制高度或變更堆積等設施，及嚴禁與作業無關人員進入該等場所等作為，並使堆置作業人員接受相關安全衛生教育訓練，並加強人員搬運及堆放技巧。
職安署強調，事業單位應依職業安全衛生法令規定確認廠場物料堆置安全無虞，如因未採取安全防護設施而導致勞工罹災者，將依法查處究辦。
