為協助勞工朋友於遭遇職業災害後維持基本生活，早日重返職場，《職業災害勞工保護法》提供多項相關補助。如經醫師診斷必須使用輔助器具，即可依規定申請器具補助，像輪椅、助行器、拐杖、身體各部位之支架、輪椅氣墊座墊、彈性衣及矽膠片等共有105種，都可以向勞動部職業安全衛生署提出申請。經統計，近3年(107-109年)每年平均核發約810人次，金額為新臺幣823萬餘元。
勞動部表示，為協助職災勞工重返職場，運用《職業災害勞工保護法》提供社會復健、職能復健及職業重建等領域各項服務，並透過補助醫事服務機構及相關團體提供職災勞工心理的支持與諮商，及生理層面的工作能力強化訓練等，此外，對雇主因僱用或改善職災勞工工作環境所需輔助設施也提供相關補助。
