營造業屬重大職災風險發生率較高之行業，每年發生重大職災案件約佔全產業之一半，統計103~107年營造業工作場所以施工架為媒介物之重大職災比例約佔15.1%，災害類型以墜落及倒塌、崩塌災害為主，爰營造工地之施工架組配作業、拆除作業及使用施工架從事相關作業等（以下簡稱施工架作業）屬高職災、風險高作業。
本署為督促事業單位依職業安全衛生法令規定，設置施工架作業必要安全設施及落實安全管理，特建置「施工架作業安全」專區，提供「鋼管施工架符合國家標準CNS 4750同等以上規定之方法及條件」、「施工架作業安全檢查重點及注意事項」、施工架作業安全宣導海報、摺頁、影片及職災案例等資訊供事業單位下載，以強化施工架材料進場管理及落實自主管理。
